Our Super Visa Premier and Essential Plans include a competitive selection of benefits, deductible options.
There are two Super Visa Emergency Medical Insurance Plans available to those up to 85 years of age. All plans meet the requirements of the Canadian Super Visa when purchased for one year and minimum sum insured of $100,000.
Essential Plan: This plan offers benefits for covered medical emergencies. No benefits are available for pre-existing conditions or Accidental Death and Dismemberment.
Premier Plan: This plan offers benefits for medical emergencies. Benefits are available for some pre-existing conditions* as well as Accidental Death and Dismemberment.

- Emergency Paramedical Services – $500/Category
- Accidental Death And Dismemberment – Up to the plan limit chosen, to a maximum of $100,000
- Pre-Existing Conditions Coverage – Up to 79 years of age
- Coverage For Side Trip – Included
- Waived Deductible – First $1000 of deductible waived when hospitalized for 72 consecutive hours or more
- Family Rate – 2 Times Eldest Travelers Rate
- Deductible Options – $250 (-10%), $500 (-15%), $1,000 (-20%), $5,000 (-30%), $10,000 (-45%)
Eligibility
All of the following restrictions apply:

- You must be over 14 days old and under 86 years of age during the entire period of coverage.
- You do not have a medical condition for which a physician has advised you against travel before your period of coverage.
- You do not have a surgically untreated aneurysm.
- You have never been diagnosed with or received treatment for:

- Pancreatic or liver cancer, or any type of metastasized cancer;
- A kidney condition requiring dialysis;
- A bone marrow or organ transplant;
- Congestive heart failure;
- A terminal sickness.

li>At time of purchase of this policy, you do not reside in a nursing home, assisted living home, convalescent home, hospice or rehabilitation centre.
- You do not require assistance with normal daily activities. This does not apply to children under 12 years of age.
- You have not taken (or been prescribed) oral steroids or used home oxygen to treat a lung condition in the 12 months before Your start date.
- In the 12 months immediately prior to your start date you have not been:

- diagnosed with or received treatment for any two conditions listed in the Medical Conditions Table;
- Admitted to hospital for any one condition in the Medical Conditions Table.

- Diabetes requiring insulin
- Stroke or mini-stroke (TIA)

Important Notices
- Travel insurance is designed to cover losses arising from sudden and unforeseeable circumstances. It is important that you read and understand the policy before you purchase as the coverage is subject to certain limitations, conditions or exclusions.
- Pre-existing condition exclusions may apply to medical conditions and/or symptoms that existed prior to a covered trip. Check to see how these apply to your trip and how they relate to your departure date, date of purchase or effective date.
- The information you provide us in order to make a policy purchase must be complete and accurate otherwise your policy will be void and no benefit will be payable under this policy
- The policy is secondary to all other sources of coverage. Any benefits payable under the policy are in excess of any other coverage you may have with any other insurance company or any other source of recovery.
- In the event of an injury or sickness, prior medical history may be reviewed when a claim is reported.
- The policy provides travel assistance and you are required to notify the emergency assistance provider prior to treatment. The policy limits benefits should you not contact the assistance provider within the specified time period.
- You may cancel the policy within 10 days of purchase for a full refund if you have not departed on your covered trip and there is no claim in process. For the emergency medical only plan, you may cancel any time prior to departure and receive a full refund.
